Greener Ilfracombe is a network of conservation, green space and horticultural voluntary organisations in the Ilfracombe area. All of these organisations are involved in preserving, enhancing and regaining community green space in the densely built town of Ilfracombe. Read our constitution and our history.

Community Resources Devon have secured a grant to clear the Harbour Beach of Rubbish between 10 and 12 noon on Tuesday 19th May.Volunteers most welcome, gloves and bags provided.

Ilfracombe C of E Junior School has installed a massive 33Kwh Solar Photovoltaic system, and a 3.3Kwh Solar Hot Water system as well. Recognised as a significant contribution to reducing carbon dioxide, the school has also achieved finalist status in the prestigious Debi awards 2008.
